Polish city without running water for 6 days after filtration failure
Residents of Otwock, Poland, receive bottled water and assistance from the local fire brigade on April 7, 2025, after a failure in the town’s municipal filtration system disrupted the water supply. Some forty thousands residents of Otwock and Karczew now rely on bottled water being supplied by the local authorities and water tanks across the area for clean water.
