Residents of Otwock, Poland, receive bottled water and assistance from the local fire brigade on April 7, 2025, after a failure in the town’s municipal filtration system disrupted the water supply. Some forty thousand residents in Otwock and Karczew have been without running water for 6 days after a failure in the filtration system. Authorities have been providing bottled water and water tanks around the city for residents to have drinking water.
