Protest against Citizenship Amendment bill

All Assam Students Union (AASU) along with 30 indigenous organizations take out a torch light procession to protest against the Citizenship Amendment bill 2016 in Guwahati, Assam, India on Thursday, 21 November 2019. The winter session of Indian Parliamentary session has started from 18 November in which Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is expected to table the Citizenship Amendment Bill 2016. The passing of the Citizenship Amendment Bill 2016 will give Indian citizenship rights to the refugees from minority communities, except the Muslim community.
