NYPD crime scene unit investigators are working at the scene, marking shell casings and collecting evidence where one man is killed and one man is injured in a shooting on Easter Sunday at 350 East 143 Street in Mott Haven, Bronx, New York, United States, on April 20, 2025. On Sunday afternoon at approximately 2:00 PM, police are responding to a 911 call of shots fired in the rear of 350 East 143 Street in the Mott Haven section of Bronx, New York. Upon arrival, police officers are observing a 45-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the torso and a 40-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds to the abdomen. EMS is responding and transporting the 45-year-old man to NYC Health and Hospitals/Lincoln where he is pronounced dead. EMS is transporting the 40-year-old male to NYC Health and Hospitals/Lincoln in stable condition. There are no arrests, and the investigation is remaining ongoing. The identification of the deceased is pending family notification.
