8-year-old Boy And 38-year-old Woman Found Dead Inside Of 683 E. 231 Street In Wakefield Bronx New York - 04/19/2025

An 8-year-old boy and a 38-year-old woman are being found dead inside 683 E. 231 Street in Wakefield, Bronx, New York, United States, on April 18, 2025. At approximately 8:26 PM, police are responding to 683 East 231 Street in Wakefield, Bronx, New York, where they are discovering a young child and adult woman unconscious and unresponsive inside. They are both being pronounced dead at the scene. Upon further investigation, a four-year-old girl is being transported for medical evaluation and is currently in stable condition. Personnel from the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner are removing the bodies of both the child and woman who are found deceased. There are no arrests, and the investigation is ongoing by the New York City Police Department.
