NYPD crime scene unit investigators are collecting marked evidence, including a weapon found on the ground, clothing, and a hat at the scene where a 36-year-old man is being fatally stabbed multiple times at East Burnside Avenue and Valentine Avenue in Mount Hope, Bronx, New York, United States, on April 26, 2025. On Saturday morning at approximately 3:56 AM, police are responding to a 911 call of a person being stabbed at East Burnside Avenue and Valentine Avenue in the Mount Hope section of Bronx, New York. Upon arrival, officers are observing a 36-year-old man with multiple stab wounds to the torso. EMS is responding and transporting the man to Saint Barnabas Hospital where he is being pronounced dead. There are no arrests and the investigation is remaining ongoing. The identity of the deceased is pending family notification.
