Police on Tuesday used tear smoke canisters and pellets to disperse the Kashmiri student protesters protesting in solidarity with students of Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) and Jamia Millia Islamia Delhi where violent clashes left dozens students injured. The Kashmiri students also demonstrated against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA).
