Traditional Circus Show in Dhaka

Artists perform during a circus show at a fair in the outskirts of Manikganj, 54 km away from Dhaka. A circus is commonly a traveling company of performers that may include acrobatics, clowns, train animals, trapeze acts, musicians, Hooper’s, jugglers, unicyclists, and other stunt oriented artist. Once a major form of mass entertainment, Circus Company is struggling to keep up the tradition due to the difficulty of tough competition from developing forms of digital entertainment and lack of institutional support for the profession.
