Canadians protest against American airstrikes and aggression towards Iran

Canadians held a protest outside the American consulate in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, on January 04, 2020 to protest against American aggression towards Iran following an American airstrike that killed Iranian Major-General Qassem Soleimani, head of the elite Quds Force, and Iraqi militia commander Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis on Friday 3 January 2020. Canadian protestors denounced the airstrikes ordered by US President Donald Trump and called on Canada to remove its troops from the Middle East and urged Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau to intervene and prevent a war between America and Iran. General Qasem Soleimani was the second most powerful person in Iran, only behind Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has said 'severe revenge awaits the criminals' behind the attack.
