Restaurateurs occupy roundabouts to demonstrate for restrictions due to Covid-19

A flash mob called #gameover, organized in L'Aquila, Italy, on May 16, 2020, by the RAVV Association (Restaurateurs Aq VS Virus). An organization that brings together restaurateurs, owners of cafe and local citizens, to demonstrate the serious economic and organizational criticalities for the category, perhaps the most affected by the crisis due to the coronavirus. Tables and chairs have been positioned within the main roundabouts of the city. "We chose a silent protest, in compliance with the rules imposed by the period, to make our voice heard". These are the words of Daniele di Fabio, restaurateur and partner of RAVV. The mayor of L'Aquila, Pierluigi Biondi, also spoke at the event. "A balance must be found otherwise the risk is that of closing hundreds of thousands of productive activities in L'Aquila, in Abruzzo and throughout the nation".
