The National Assembly (Assemblée Nationale) is the lower house of the bicameral French Parliament under the Fifth Republic, the upper house being the Senate. The official seat of the National Assembly is the Palais Bourbon on the banks of the river Seine. The classical portico added to the Palais Bourbon in 1806–08 by Napoleon Bonaparte in front of the facade. Paris, June 14, 2020.
