Since July 1st, after the COVID-19 pandemics restrictions, Estonia allowed mass events with about 1000 participants. Local enthusiast from North-eastern Estonia held first ever swamp football competition, in Rabatalu, Estonia, on July 4, 2020. Seven mixed teams, men, women and kids, compete each other on the swamp pond in the forest playing football. Swamp football is a quite popular in Finland, and now it's became as a new tradition in Estonia along with mosquito catching competition.
