The protesters held rally near the President Office and the Parliament demand to help solve problems of the renewable energy sector. The bill №3658, which is based on the terms of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Government and some investors in renewable energy was adopted today by 288 votes of lawmakers.The bill provides for a reduction in tariffs for solar power plants by 15%, for wind power plants - by 7.5% without prolongation of their validity, according to media. In 2008, Ukraine undertook to develop renewable energy, and by 2025 the share of "green" energy in the energy mix should be 25%, as local media reported.
