Police break up peaceful LGBT demonstration in Warsaw

An unmarked police car is seen with arrestees on the rear seats in Warsaw, Poland on August 7, 2020. Several hundred LGBT people and supporters tried to prevent the arrest of a women sentenced to two months in jail for damaging a vehicle with anti-LGBT propaganda. Police made several dozen arrests during the demonstration. Tensions have been rising between LGBT groups and the conservative government which opposes equal rights for LGBT people.
