Celestinian Forgiveness celebrated in L'Aquila amid the COVID-19 in L'Aquila

The 726th Perdonanza Celestiniana ( Celestinian Forgiveness ) took place regularly despite the restrictions due to the Coronavirus emergency, in L'Aquila, Italy, on August 28, 2020. The Holy Door of the Basilica of Santa Maria di Collemaggio in L'Aquila has been opened, a historical-religious event considered a precursor of the Jubilee, which every year celebrates the plenary indulgence that Pope Celestine V wanted in 1294.
