Ecological associations and groups demonstrated on 30 August 2020 at the end of a weekend of mobilisation against the project to set up an eco-technology park on the banks of the Loire estuary between Frossay and Saint-Viaud in the Pays de Retz (Loire-Atlantique, France). This project, led by the Grand Port Maritime Nantes-Saint-Nazaire, where work is due to start on 31 August, involves the artificialisation of 110 hectares of natural area, 51 of which are wetlands, housing 116 protected species, several of which are threatened with extinction.
