The restoration of Palazzo Ardinghelli, financed with the support of Russia has been presented in L'Aquila, today. The building was damaged by the devastating earthquake in April 2009. The house will host the MAXXI Museum, a new contemporary art museum under the management of Rome's Museo Nazionale delle Arti del XXI secolo. MAXXI L'Aquila will be inaugurated on 30 October, in the presence of Italy's culture minister Dario Franceschini and the Russian ambassador to Italy, Sergey Razov.
