A suppport group walks with Catalan regional president Quim Torra towards the Superior Court of Justice of Catalonia (TSJC) in Barcelona on September 23, 2020. - Spain's Supreme Court considered an appeal by Catalan separatist president Quim Torra against a conviction for disobedience carrying a sentence which disqualifies him from holding public office for 18 months. Torra has been allowed to remain in power during the appeal process but if the appeal fails he will have to stand down in a move that risks exacerbating a bitter dispute within Catalonia's deeply-divided separatist movement and potentially trigger early regional elections.
