Masks made compulsory outside in Poland as coronavirus cases surge

Saturday is the first day that the covering of mouth and nose in public has become mandatory after the government announced the entire country is designated as a "yellow" zone. Rapidly rising cases of coronavirus infections have moved authorities to impose further hygiene protocols to prevent further spread of the virus. On Friday new infections counted by the ministry of health were twice the daily amount of that on Monday.
