Thousands march in 7th day of near-total abortion protest

Several thousand people took part in a march to parliament as part of nation wide protests against a near-total ban on abortions in Warsaw, Poland on October 28, 2020. On October 22 the Constitutional Tribunal declared abortions taking place due to malformed foetuses is unconstitutional. Poland has some of the world's most draconian abortion laws and the ruling means abortions are now only possible in cases of rape of when giving birth is a threat to the mother's life.
