Country of Russia reported another record in the number of daily coronavirus cases on Friday, announcing 18,283 people tested positive in the last 24 hours. Russia imposed a nationwide mask mandate earlier this week and advised restaurants, bars and entertainment venues to close after 11:00 pm in an effort to slow down the spread of the novel virus.
