Palestinian protesters take cover from Israeli tear gas during a protest against US President Trump's decision to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, during clashes along the border between Israel and eastern Gaza Strip, east of Al Bureij refugee camp, 08 December 2017. US President Donald J. Trump announced on 06 December, that the US recognizes Jerusalem as the Israeli capital and that it will relocate its embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. Two Palestinian protesters were killed and 56 others were injured after being reportedly shot dead by Israeli soldiers during clashes on the day near the Gaza border, media reported.
