Barricaded suspect gets gassed out in Van Nuys

On November 12, 2020 Los Angeles Police Department responded to a man with a gun call where a resident in an apartment building pointed and AK style rifle at a neighbor. When Police arrived the suspect barricaded himself into his apartment complex. Police tried to negotiate with the suspect before firing gas into his living space. The suspect finally gave up after about 3 hours of being locked up in his home. Firefighters evaluated the suspect for injuries. Suspect was taken to Van Nuys Police Department.
