Shopping malls reopen in Poland

On November 28, 2020 shopping malls and large shops reopened after almost three weeks of closure due to COVID-19 restrictions. Large shops and shopping malls will be able to accommodate one person per 15 square meters under the new rules. Poland has seen a sharp rise in coronavirus infections since the reopening of schools in September and has been struggling to contain the spread of the virus. In recent weeks cases have finally decreased after new restrictions have been put in place including distance learning for schools and universities and the temporary closing of shopping centers.
