Protesters demonstrate in support of Indian farmers in front of embassy

Several dozen people carried slogans on signs in support of farmers in India who will be subject law reforms which they say will endanger their livelyhood. The new laws will favor large corporations in determining prices for agricultural goods. Announcement of the reforms have led to large scale strikes involving over 250 million Indians organized by 10 trade unions across the country in recent weeks.
