At the Central Clinical Hospital of the Ministry of the Interior on Sunday (MSWiA) five people, employees of the hospital received the very first coronavirus vaccinations in the country. Head nurse of the MSWiA, Alicja Jakubowska was the first person to receive the vaccination. Poland received its first batch of 10 thousand coronavirus vaccines on Saturday from the Pfizer warehouse in Puurs, Belgium. The government announced vaccines will be distributed to some 500 hospitals across the country 72 of which received the first batches on Sunday. By the end of January Poland will have 1.5 million doses of coronavirus vaccine.
