On January 29th 2021, several activist of Extinction Rebellion gathered in Munich to protest against the participation of the Munich public utilities ( SWM ) on Spirit Energy, which engages in the oil and gas production and will build a huge gas power plant ( GuD3 ). Further the protestors adressed the planning of a new gas power plant in the HKW Nord in Unterfoehring.
