Famous Vlichada beach in Santorini Island in Cyclades, Aegean Sea, Greece. Vlychada or Vluxada beach is known for the wind-sculpted volcanic cliffs, the black grey pebbles and sand below the steep carved volcanic rocks. A few tourists only are seen in the popular beach with the waves, relaxing, sunbathing and swimming. The beach is considered nudist friendly. Santorini is a popular destination for honeymoon, proposals, weddings and couples from all over the world, but usually is overcrowded with Asian tourists as it is considered on of the top romantic places in the world. The Greek authorities lifted the Covid-19 Coronavirus lockdown measures and allowed the first wave of tourists at 15 of June and then since July 1 with direct flights to the islands, but to specific countries with low pandemic cases. The tourism industry is one of the main income sources for the country so Greece started easing the measures trying to keep up the safety protocols in order to relaunch the tourism season.
