L'Aquila: an obelisk installed inside the Parco della Memoria for the victims of the earthquake of April 6, 2009 in Piazzale Paoli on 20 March 2021. The obelisk, fifteen meters high, rises inside a monumental fountain, nearing completion, with a rather articulated geometry; the intervention is part of a wider redevelopment plan of the area surrounding Piazzale Paoli. The choice of location is not accidental: the square, in fact, is included in the area bounded by via XX Settembre, via Campo di Fossa and via Luigi Sturzo, or the three streets where the highest number of deaths was recorded during the night of 6 April 2009.
