President Duda attends 78th anniversary of Ghetto Uprising

Monday April 19, 2021 will mark the 78th anniversary of the largest Jewish uprising of the Second World War. The Warsaw Gehtto Uprising commemoration will take place at 12 noon at the Ghetto Uprising Monument in the Muranow district by the Museum of the History of Polish Jews. For one minute sirens will sound throughout the city and president Andrzej Duda will place a wreath at the Ghetto Heroes monument. Throughout the day people will also be handing out yellow daffodils symbolizing the commemoration of the uprising.
