Poland's Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki on Wednesday announced the gradual lifting of lockdown restrictions in the coming weeks. After having closed hotels, sports and cultural facilities and bars and restaurants for several months most of those businesses will now be allowed to reopen in May. On May 4 shopping malls and large retail stores will reopen with hotels opening several days later. Halfway May restaurants and bars that have outdoor seating will be allowed to reopen open air spaces. The hospitality sector has been especially impacted in Poland with several hundred thousand people having lost their income.
