Port Canaveral holds COVID-19 Vaccine clinic for crew of Carnival Cruise Ship

A nurse gives a crew member from the Carnival Liberty cruise ship a shot of the Johnson and Johnson COVID-19 vaccine at Port Canaveral, the first U.S. port to sponsor COVID-19 vaccine distribution to port workers and vessel crew members. The ship, which has not carried passengers since March 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic, docked at the port to enable 109 crew members to be vaccinated at the one-day clinic in preparation for the expected resumption of cruises in July 2021.
