The first heatwave of the summer of 2021 has reached Poland after it hit Western Europe earlier in the week. June in Poland has a historic average of temperatures around 17 degrees centigrade but on Friday temperatures hit 30 degrees with Saturday expecting a maximum of 32 degrees. Hundreds of people flocked to the beaches on the Vistula river in Warsaw on Friday with the evening still being pleasantly warm.
