Europe has enjoyed it’s second warmest summer on record in June while July is expected to bring scorching temperatures that will again break records for much of Eastern Europe. According to the US based Woodwell Climate Research Center the heatwave is the result of a northward travelling polar jet stream. Near the end of the week all of Poland will see the mercury rise up to an exceptional 35 degrees.
