Italy extends Covid-19 state of emergency until the end of the year

On Thursday, the Italian government announced that the state of emergency in place due to the coronavirus pandemic will be extended until the end of the year. The country has unveiled the plans for the green pass, which become mandatory starting from August 6 for all citizens above the age of 12. The Covid-passport will be needed for indoor dining and other indoor activities, such as cinema, theater, and gym.
