Tokyo has reported a new daily record of coronavirus infections in the metropolitan area, with an increase of 3,865 people in the last 24 hours. International Olympic Committee spokesperson Mark Adams asserted that the Olympics aren't the cause of the recent surge in daily coronavirus cases in Tokyo.
