Turkey strives to put out wildfires. Massive wildfires across Turkey have been rapily burning forests, some settlements, villages and tourist destinations. The death toll from six days of wildfires in Turkey's Antalya and Mugla provinces rose to eight. Bodrum district in the southwestern province of Mugla; specially Mazi and villages inside of this zone have damaged by wildfire. Evacuations have continue as the flames surrounded the Mazi and neighbourhood villages. Fire extinguishing and controlling have continuing in these areas. The mayor of Bodrum has called for "urgent air support". on August 01, 2021.
