On the Lazio coast, at the "Sirenella" bathing establishment in Terracina, on 30 July 2021 the seventh "nest" of tartaurga Caretta Caretta was found. The coast guard and the TartaLazio association intervened on the post to secure the nest and preserve it until the eggs hatch, which should take place at the end of September.
