Hilsa fishing during the monsoon season in India

Labourers are arranging hilsa fish in a bucket at Namkhana wholesale fish market at Namkhana, West Bengal, India, Asia, July 17th, 2021. Catching of juvelline Hilsa is banned in the country. Hilsa fishing is done during the monsoon; due to prolong bad weather and lockdown the fishermen couldn't go into the sea for fishing for long time. Now the hiking of petrol price in India made the fishermen helpless to go for fishing in the sea. Previously the fishermen used to catch Hilsa easily without going in deep sea; but now a days due to lack of Hilsa availability they had to go in deep sea which takes more days and causes more fuel cost. The whole expenses have become more than double now.
