Indian forces stand alert during curfew after senior Pro-freedom leader Syed Ali Shah Geelani, 92, passed away at his residence in Srinagar, Indian Administered Kashmir on 01 September 2021. Forces in large numbers reached his residence and sealed the entry and exit points. the ailing leader was kept under house detention since the 2010 uprising in the valley. Meanwhile, communication networks were banned across Kashmir valley.
