Climate strike in Istanbul, Turkey on September 24, 2021. Young climate activists demanding action against the climate crisis took to the streets simultaneously around the world. The district of Kadikoy was the Istanbul address of the protests organized in numerous locations throughout Turkey. Fridays for Future Turkey, Youth for Climate, and Roots and Shoots called for the climate strike which has been supported by many institutions. The participants carried signs reading 'Together for the climate', 'Teach climate at school', 'We want the future', 'Uproot the system' and 'There is no other planet'.
