Thousands of Muslims gather for Biswa Ijtema on the bank of River Turag to attend prayer on January 13, 2017 in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The three-day congregation, the second largest Islamic gathering in the world, started with a sermon after Fazr prayers on Friday. The first phase will end with the farewell prayer (Ankheri Monajat) of the Ijtema on Sunday. The second phase will start after a four day break on January 20th.
