All Saint's Day in Gdansk, Poland

People visiting graves of their relatives at the Lostowicki Cemetery are seen in Gdansk, Poland on 31 October 2021 Christian people celebrate All Saints Day (Wszystkich Swietych), pay respect to the dead family members, lay flowers and lit candles on their graves. All Saints' Day on 1 November and All Souls' Day on 2 November are when millions of Poles visit the graves of loved ones, often travelling hundreds of kilometres to their home towns. In 2021 as the 1st Nov is on Monday many of people visit graves on the weekend preceding that day.
