A group perform Lion dance and Dragon dance during "Grebeg Sudiro" festival, a Javanese-style to celebrates Chinese Lunar New Year in Surakarta, Central Java, Indonesia, on January 22, 2017. Grebeg Sudiro is a cultural tradition which is an acculturation between Chinese and Java, held to welcome Chinese Lunar Year locally known as Imlek, as well as to support nationalism, pluralism, and social integration. The Grebeg Sudiro festivities show the harmonious relationship that exists between the Chinese and Javanese communities who live within one district, respecting each other's traditions and ways of life.
