Belarus Migration Crisis

Four young men from northern Iraq are seen near a refugee camp in Frankfurt and er Oder, Germany on November 26, 2021. Several thousand refugees, mainly from Iraq are housed in refugee shelters in Germany after having crossed the border from Belarus into Poland and onwards to Germany. Since the summer over 40 thousand refugees have attempted to cross the border into Poland from Belarus however most often asylum request there are not possible due to the push-back policy put in place by the Polish government.
