Poles woke up to a white Christmas on Saturday after a nightly snowfall. Poland has enjoyed snow in the last few days and forecasts showed Christmas Eve would be the last day of the week with snow. Due to cold temperatures snow remains lying in the streets so that people could enjoy they holiday in the powdery white outdoors with the snow also decorating the roofs of buildings.
