A vigil was held in Warsaw, Poland on 14 January, 2022 to commemorate the death of Pawel Adamowicz. Adamowicz was murdered in front of a large crowd while speaking at a public charity event on January 14th, 2019. The news of Adamowicz's death, who was known as a bridge builder was met with sadness not only throughout Poland but also by leaders across Europe.
